SECOND DAY ACTIVITIES

The second day, we started visiting the Valladolid Teacher Training Service (CFIE Valladolid) where the director of the Centre, Mr Manzano led the participants to the facilities where teachers get their training in general individual courses there.

After that tour around the building the participants attended a teacher trainers' meeting in which they learnt about how teacher trainers work in Valladolid. Mr Manzano showed them the web page, the blog where they show the good practices of schools, the digital resource tool DSPACE and the resources teacher trainers have created with web 2.0 tools.

It was great to meet the professionals who are working so hard to train teachers and to promote innovation in education. An unforgettable experience!

After a nice coffee break, we moved to the Faculty of Education in the University of Valladolid where participants had the chance to meet some university students who are willing to become primary school teachers. They had the chave to get in a classroom and ask and answer questions about the different education systems in Europe. It was a wonderful time. there is no doubt about it. They also had the chance to get in a music and Physical Education class where they could share their education activities.

Later on, they went to have lunch and then they went to the main square where they were toured around the monumental areas by a tourist guide. It wasgreat to walk around the downtown area despite the sudden rain.

Afterwards, the participants went to have dinner together and rested from this beautiful day.
